Abstract
Globally, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the food chain are estimated to account for 33% of the total GHG emissions . Emissions from the food chain can emanate from direct or indirect sources.
This road map presents quantified evidence on the levels of carbon that could be saved in domestic kitchens in the UK, the technologies and strategies that could be applied and looks forward to 2050 to predict whether a zero-carbon domestic kitchen is feasible.
